When I was young, I wanted to get married, own a house and have kids. It took me almost 40 years to find my true love. Since we were both older in life, we did everything “out of order”. We bought a house, went on a honeymoon, got engaged, got pregnant, got married, got cancer and had a child. The cancer part was not in our plans. In fact, my wife was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer less than one week before our little girl was born. So…we had to learn about cancer and raising a child all within a week. After 39 months, my wife succumbed to complications of cancer.
I am here to celebrate life and share my personal life experiences – experiences that have lead me to being an only parent (to an awesome young woman), to establishing a new normal and hopefully – to finding my next true love.
I believe that life should be loved. And that we should share love with everyone and everything as we journey through this crazy thing called life.
